The European Powder Diffraction Conference<\/strong> (EPDIC) is the only European conference completely dedicated to all aspects of the analysis of polycrystalline materials by diffraction methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Started in Munich in 1991, EPDICs have rapidly become reference points for all researchers in the field and are now regarded to be ideal places for the presentation and diffusion of new developments in powder diffraction instrumentation, analysis, and applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EPDIC conferences are intended to be the place where all powder diffractionists, independently of whether they are more interested in the theoretical advances or in the application of the techniques, can meet and exchange ideas and experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The permanent International Committee of EPDIC <\/strong>was established during EPDIC-6 in Budapest, and is periodically renewed following established rules. Turnover is important to guarantee active participation and inclusion of all topics and skills relevant to powder diffraction.
The background, reasons and procedures for the establishment of EPDiCom were extensively discussed prior to EPDIC-6. Interested people can refer to any member for information and proposals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
